Very sweet, friendly male. No aggression witnessed with people or other dogs. Underweight, very dirty, with coat matted in places. Has been abused and will shy away from sudden movement and raised voice, but always comes back looking for attention. Will be very nice companion but needs gentle, loving care. Can handle all over, including feet. Patrick is an attractive, though small male. — ADOPTED |
Very friendly, but also most likely abused. Can handle all over. Likes people. No aggression witnessed with people, even good with children, but would not recommend placing with very young children as she has not been around toddlers. Little dominant with other females, do not recommend placing with another female. Star is quite thin and had a litter in June. She is an active dog and would make a nice companion, especially with an active family. Sister to Goldy and Patsy. Her coat and face are not black, more like a dark grey. — ADOPTED |
Goldy is very friendly with everyone and can be handled all over. She is very active but does calm down when the rest of the gang relaxes. Goldy is sweet and needs a really good, forever loving home after the abuse she has been through. She is a little bit dominant with other females. Goldy will make a good family companion. — ADOPTED |
Jimmy is a friendly, active male but a bit shy. He is uncertain at first, but warms up to people quickly. He can be handled all over. No aggression witnessed with people, children or dogs. Jimmy is in better shape physically than most of the other dogs and will be an attractive boy once he has put on some weight. He will make a nice companion dog as he learns that people can be kind to him. He is ½ littermate to Blue and Violet. — ADOPTED |
Patsy is a very friendly active girl. She is in better shape physically than most of the other dogs. She will not submit to another dominant female, so it is recommended she not be placed with another female. Patsy is the most confident of all the dogs, but still can see in her behavior that there has been some abuse, but easily to overcome if with a loving family Cleaned up, Patsy will be an attractive dog. — ADOPTED |
Rebecca whelped a litter of 10 puppies on October 22, 2005. 7 puppies have died. Rebecca delivered the pups, at best guess, 7-10 days early. Rebecca is starving for attention. She is very sweet and very gentle female. We do not know her true character towards other females since she is separated from them since she has pups. Rebecca is very, very thin. After the life Rebecca has had for 4 years, she deserves someone who will be very devoted to her. Cleaned up and in better physical shape, Rebecca will be an attractive dog. She has a nice coat, under all the filth. Her bite is "undershot" and she has one canine that is not positioned properly. Rebecca was up for sale in at least 3 auctions in 2005 until rescued the first part of October. — ADOPTED |
IF these pups survive they will not be available for adoption until the first of January. The pups were ½ the size of a typical hovi pup at birth and we do not yet know at this time if they can survive the premature birth. It is touch and go. — ADOPTED |
